Vegetation varies from the left and right banks: the right was observed to have secondary forest growth indicated by thick underbrush and limited number of larger trees. The left side of the bank contained selected vegetation such as large pines, hardwoods, or Crate Myrtles resulting in limited number of trees leading up to and along the bank. Most of the trees along both sides of the bank leaning in towards the stream. The average of trees at this site will live for at least another ten years.
